Modernism Week
Location: Palm Springs
Dates: February 13-23
Mid-century modern enthusiasts can once again escape the winter blues for California’s Instagram-magnet in the desert. Over 11 days, visitors will be treated to iconic mid-century architecture, interior design, landscape design, art and more.

New York Build Expo
Location: New York
Dates: March 12-13
Now in its ninth year, New York’s two-day construction and design trade show features more than 500 hundred speakers across dozens of panel talks, workshops and exhibitions. Get ready for some power networking with buyers, policymakers and industry leaders.
NYCxDESIGN
Location: Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, New York
Dates: May 15-21
NYCxDESIGN transforms New York City into a multi-borough celebration of creativity each spring. Expect events in diverse venues, from museums and galleries to outdoor spaces and pop-up shops. The week-long festival is a buffet of originality in architecture, furniture, technology and visual arts. Wear comfortable shoes so you can see as much as possible over a whole week.
ICFF
Location: New York
Dates: May 18-20
Once NYCxDesign wraps up, you can feast your eyes on the best of furnishing design at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. Exploring innovation in materials and design for furniture, lighting, textiles and more, ICFF draws in some 10,000 attendees. The three-day program includes dozens of talks alongside several exhibits from emerging designers and global brands.
AIA Conference on Architecture & Design
Location: Boston
Dates: June 5-6
Summer comes into swing with the American Institute of Architects’ annual conference. While the theme for the 2025 event is yet to be revealed, attendees will be treated to a range of thought-provoking symposia, keynotes and seminars. Local tours and workshops are also a highlight. As always, you can expect explorations of technology trends, sustainable practices and excellence in studio practice and management.
Archtober
Location: New York
Dates: Throughout October
Archtober is one of richest architecture and design events New York has to offer, with a year-round program that culminates in a month-long festival in October. Key events include the popular Building of the Day Tours, and Open House New York Weekend, where rarely accessible spaces are open to the public. Archtober encourages dialogue among architects, designers and the public alike. Visualise the future of urban spaces while celebrating New York’s architectural heritage​.
2025 Design Expo – Texas Society of Architects
Location: Dallas
Dates: October 30 – November 1
As fall sets in, head to Texas for TxA’s Annual Conference & Design Expo. In 2024, the event was revived after a decade-long hiatus, and we’re so glad it’s back. Behold Texan design creativity and leadership with a plethora of talks, tours and workshops. TxA also boasts the largest display of architecture and design products in the South West.
