Women in Architecture, in partnership with The Thoughtful Co, are delighted to invite you to Negotiate for the Compensation You Deserve workshop, taking place online on Wednesday, 5 March 2025, from 1-2pm GMT.
This workshop empowers you to take control of your career, learn how to present your value and enable you to feel confident in negotiating for fair and equitable compensation.
This workshop will enable you to feel confident in asking for the compensation you deserve. We’ll guide you through the entire process – from navigating conversations with leadership about salary increases to understanding critical details before signing a new employment contract. Plus, we’ll highlight common negotiation pitfalls and how to avoid them.
There will be time for group discussion and Q&A to ensure all your questions are answered.

The workshop is led by Jillian Climie, Co-Founder of The Thoughtful Co.
Jillian has spent her career in executive compensation and corporate governance.
Jillian Climie is Co-Founder of The Thoughtful Co, a consultancy that supports women in negotiating their compensation, and advises employers on improving gender equity in the workplace. She specializes in supporting women getting paid what they deserve, with her clients on average achieving +25% increases in their compensation packages.
Jillian attended Ivey Business School and has spent her career advising and leading teams in executive compensation and corporate governance, both as a consultant, and in-house at two global retailers. Most recently at Lululemon, she led the global equity and executive compensation teams. After taking a pause, she realized she wanted more of three things in her professional life: thoroughness, passion, and freedom. She Co-Founded The Thoughtful Co. so she can leverage her technical experience to empower women to get p aid what they deserve and employers to build inclusive workplaces. She has supported clients negotiate at companies across the globe, including Goldman Sachs, UBER, Deloitte, IBM, Sephora, TC Energy, and Stripe.
Jillian was named a 2022 Emerging Leader by The Peak, and was a 2024 Women of Influence Nominee and 2023 Inspirational Leader of the Year Nominee.
