About this role
This role encompasses design and team leadership, client and consultant management and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have solid construction knowledge and be able to work in timely and courteous manner demonstrating leadership on projects and with team members.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with Senior leadership on multiple projects
- Independently managing and running projects from start to finish
- Coordinating external consultants and maintaining strong client relationships
- Producing and implementing detailed drawing packages for all project stages
- Ensuring quality control across design development and documentation
- Leading and mentoring project teams to foster creativity and technical excellence
- Driving innovative and practical solutions to meet design and construction challenges
Skills and experience
- Qualification in Architecture, 6-10+ years of local professional experience
- Proven leadership experience in delivering complex projects, ideally in mixed-use or commercial sectors
- Strong skills in project coordination, client management, and stakeholder engagement
- Expertise in construction documentation and delivery processes
- Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
- A deep understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and planning regulations
- Registration as a practicing architect in Australia preferred
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
