About this role
An emerging and innovative practice in Central London is looking for a Senior Architect with at least 5 years qualified experience to join their team. It's for early stage, large scale residential, Hospitality and Mixed-use projects that require a talented Architect to run, develop, oversee a team, and have a voice as an integral part of the company, which also has an office overseas.
You'll come from a design-led background and have demonstrable experience leading projects and teams, with client-facing experience and intent to progress on to other managerial responsibilities. It's an award-winning and creative environment that provides an amazing opportunity for you to thrive. You may also have the opportunity to travel overseas.
This is a unique opportunity to join a studio at the top of the structure and play a key part in their growth, using their already large presence in the international market.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee design development with the team and detailed design development across all RIBA stages.
- Strive for design excellence, continuing the high standards of the practice and get the best out of the team.
- Liaise with the client and maintain good relationships for continued and repeat work.
- Exhibit technical expertise across all aspects of a project.
- Understanding of the design and construction process.
Skills and Experience
- Fully qualified ARB/Part III architect with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
- From a design-focused background and experience working on high-quality projects. ideally in various scales.
- Has a passion for design-lead sustainable architecture.
- Mixed-use / residential project experience required and hospitality experience desirable.
- Demonstrable experience working through all RIBA stages.
- Experience liaising with clients.
- Good working knowledge of Revit is a bonus.
- Communication skills with the team, client, and project stakeholders.
