Thriving architectural practice seeks a Principal with outstanding business development experience in the K-12 education market for their office in Ontario, CA. This role requires a strong attention to detail and experience managing a studio.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to all K-12 education project stages
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal staff teams
- Play an integral leadership and business development role for future work
- Project management, with a demonstrated understanding of productivity, timelines, and cost controls
- Communicate and interface with external consultants
Skills and experience
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience, with experience leading a studio
- 5 years of experience working on K-12 education projects, DSA experience
- California Licensure required
- Strong network of contacts in higher education market in California
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- High level of enthusiasm for the proactive delivery of quality architectural services
- Passion for leading a great practice into the future
