This well-regarded high-end design and build company is a leader in Modular Homes. Embracing design, innovation and sustainability at their core, the group designs across a range of sectors including residential, education, retail and hotels.
This role will manage all aspects of human resources, develop and implement policies, and create programs that promote employee wellbeing. You will conduct the initial stages of recruitment, as well as, arranging and managing professional reviews and ensuring all data and information is updated accordingly. It's important you have a personable and approachable manner, as you will be relied upon as a point of reference between staff and directors.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support and assist with recruitment involving screening and scheduling potential applicants, issue letter of offer and collect all relevant information and support with onboarding
  • Develop and implement company policy, recognition programs, leadership development and mentorship programs
  • Effectively communicate policy through development of employee handbook
  • Champion positive workplace culture and engage staff through team training, lunch and learns and any additional internal events
  • Schedule and track staff performance reviews and ensure all necessary correspondence and follow up has been conducted

Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years in similar role in the design industry
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with confidence in HR operations and best practices
  • An approachable and willing attitude
  • Professional approach to sensitive and confidential matters
