About this role
A locally renowned firm is looking for a Project Designer to join their Austin studio and work on a variety of luxury homes all over the State. Priority given to bilingual English/Spanish speakers who have a passion for detailed minimal design.
Key responsibilities
- Involvement in all phases of design and construction for high-end residential ground-up and renovation projects.
- Prepare and organize construction documents and presentation materials.
- Coordination with a variety of consultants, contractors and city agencies.
- Research of project specifications, materials, systems and construction codes.
- Create accurate construction details.
- Work closely with design team and delegate to junior designers/drafters
- Follow a consistent process in order to achieve unique outcomes
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture.
- A minimum of 6 years of post-graduate professional experience.
- On track to one day become a Licensed Architect.
- Experienced in high-end residential design.
- Attention to detail and strong graphic abilities
- ArchiCAD and SketchUp proficiency.
- Effectively convey ideas to clients and colleagues both verbally and visually
