Project Architect - Multi-Family and/or Healthcare (10+ yrs)
A design focused firm in downtown Brooklyn is looking for project architect with Multi-Family and/or Healthcare experience.
About this role
Key responsibilities
- Working on projects through all phases of design and construction while working alongside the Project Manager
- Prepare drawings, schedules, and specifications
- Collaborative work with the project team, consultants, and contractors
- Assist in reviewing submittals and shop drawings during CA phase
- Prepare design presentation documents, renderings, and materials
- Research products and specifications
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
- NYS Architecture License preferred
- 4-6 years' professional experience
- Proven experience in design and project delivery for outstanding projects
- Extraordinary design and problem solving skills at small scale and big picture
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Understanding of project delivery with Revit.
The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and rigorous design environment is essential.
