BIM Leader - ArchiCAD

About this role

A thriving design practice in Sydney is looking for a talented Architect/Technician to play a key role in all aspects of BIM Management (ArchiCAD). This team of designers are working mainly in the multi residential sector but in a wide variety of projects and locations.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of BIM in this thriving studio
• Train others, identify areas for improvement and contribute to improving of standards 
• Oversee the implementation of other technologies and negotiation of software licences 
• Contribute to projects from design development to completion
• Be prepared to help on projects from time to time including the establishment of models at the start of a project 
• Contribute to the overall design and delivery process 
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and independently when required
• Oversight and strategic implementation of project BIM

Skills and experience

• Relevant qualifications in Architecture/ Drafting
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD 
• Working at a level equivalent to 8-10+ years experience 
• Excellent technical skills, with the ability to improve effiiciencies and standards across a mid sized studio 
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations
• Previous local experience working on high quality projects including multi residential work 
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to help grow the skills in others
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well within a team and independently
