You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the contractual aspects of architectural and interior design projects. Primary responsibilities include contract review, negotiation, administration and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

This highly regarded architectural and design studio with offices across Melbourne & Australia is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator/Manager to join their dynamic team. Known for their significant pipeline of work across varying sectors including Commercial, Mixed-use, Multi-res, Health and Public projects, this company takes pride in delivering innovative projects.


Key responsibilities
  • Review contracts to analyse for appropriate commercial and legal content
  • Coordinate the review of contracts by external sources as required 
  • Manage significant contract negotiations between invested parties
  • Identify risks and propose solutions to any issues that arise
  • Assist in the resolution of any disputes, involving legal teams as necessary
  • Preparation of sub-consultancy agreements

Skills and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the building design and construction industry
  • In depth knowledge of commercial and legal Consultancy contracts 
  • Educational background in procurement law
  • High level attention to detail and excellent communication abilities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritise effectively in fast paced environments
  • Familiarity with the architecture and interior design industry
