A leading global engineering firm in Melbourne Inner City, are seeking an experienced Access Consultant. This person will have a design background, knowledge of BCA standards and the ability to deliver access consulting services in a 2IC capacity. This company specialises in accessibility consulting, risk, safety and security risk consulting, emergency management and digital innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality cost-effective access consulting services. Identify opportunities for new business through business development Conduct site inspections and assessments on various stages of developments, ensuring adherence to codes. Undertake accessibility audits to existing and new buildings Stay updated on changes in building codes and industry standards. Be able to offer innovative solutions to design issues not meeting codes Prepare reports and fee proposals for clients
Skills & Experience:
- Qualifications in Architecture, Engineering and Building Surveying Member / eligible / or working towards ACAA membership In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations Proficient in reviewing and preparing reports and email writing Client management experience essential Have a work safety construction industry qualification (white card) C Class Driver's license Results orientated, with great communication and interpersonal skills Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
