Project Architect - Healthcare

About this role

A well-established, award-winning NYC studio is looking to appoint a capable and ambitious Project Architect to play a strategic role in continuing to grow their busy healthcare sector. This medium sized team is responsible for the design and delivery of numerous high-profile education, commercial, institutional and healthcare projects. 

Key responsibilities:
 

Work in a project team in development of the aesthetic and technical design The preparation of architectural design and construction documents including drawings and specifications. Coordinate work with consultants and manage change process Client engagement Develop technical aspects of the design of a project Management and mentorship of junior staff.

Skills and experience:
 

Bachelor or master degree in architecture Minimum of 8 years of professional experience (at least 3 in healthcare or education)  Natural design sensibility Experience in following a project from concept through CA Strong communication skills, articulate, graphic, organization, technical verbal and written skills Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as Revit  Proficient with Adobe Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design; and 3D software such as Sketchup Deep understanding of local building code Experience with FGI / DOH or SCA / DOE guidelines
