As the Managing Director for the Americas market, you will drive commercial growth and operational success, leading sales and business development in key sectors like contract and distribution, while overseeing daily operations and taking full responsibility for P&L management to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership and P&L Management Develop and execute the strategic growth plan for the US market, in alignment with the company's global objectives. Manage the local P&L, ensuring financial targets are met by closely monitoring costs and performance. Sales Management and Business Development Design and implement sales strategies focused on both contract and distribution channels. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, developers, and other strategic partners, in the Americas to drive business growth. Operational Management Oversee day-to-day operations in the US, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards. Streamline operational processes, ensuring effective resource management and coordination across functions. Client and Partner Relations Represent the company in commercial relationships, strengthening its brand presence through strategic partnerships. Participate in industry events and build connections with architects, designers, developers, and dealers to support business expansion. Market Analysis and Strategic Adaptation Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and potential growth opportunities. Adapt business strategies to meet the needs of the US market and ensure the company’s continued competitive edge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in sales and operational management, with a focus on contract and distribution sectors. Demonstrated experience managing operations in the US, with a deep understanding of local market dynamics. Strong financial acumen and proven P&L management experience. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a well-established network of contacts in relevant industries (A&D, developers, dealers). Proven ability to lead teams and foster a culture of collaboration and growth. Spanish language skills are a plus
