Commercial Furniture Sales Consultant

As a Trade Sales Consultant for NSW, you will be responsible for building brand awareness across the state within key industries and managing project sales.
The ideal applicant will be a lover of considered design practices, highly personable and proactive, ad able to connect with stakeholders and drive business development and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with key specifiers and provide information on the latest releases and designs through presentations and training, face-to-face meetings, and digital communication
- Attend industry events for networking opportunities when required
- Take detailed briefs and collaborate with support team to assemble furniture packages
- Seek out and manage sales and project opportunities with suppliers, designers, and stockists
- Action project leads in a timely manner and delivery solutions-based business development activities
- Provide sales administration (quoting, stock checks, delivery & installation costs) as well as logistical and operational support for the project management
- When needed, assist Marketing with sales information for client engagement
- Assemble weekly and quarterly reports and reviews and contribute to planning and strategy sessions
Skills and Experience
- Highly proactive and driven to achieve strong relationships and sales targets
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing relationships within the Australian design industry
- Understanding of market needs across range of sectors including residential, commercial, hospitality (incl hotels), retail, education and aged care
- Positive, self-motivated networker
- Solutions-focused convertor
- Able to fit into the collaborative culture and remain an enthusiastic ‘doer’ when working autonomously
