ArchiCAD Architect for award-winning studio to work on Housing projects

About this role

Sydney-based practice known for its innovative and sustainable design approach, is seeking a skilled project architect to join the team. You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the Housing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion
• Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and other documentation
• Collaborate with project teams, including external consultants and contractors
• Ensure adherence to design standards, building codes, and regulations
• Ensure delivery of high-quality work using ArchiCAD
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders and identify any risks or changes in scope/ variations 

Skills and experience

• Relevant Architecture degree or equivalent qualification
• Proven local experience demonstrated in folio of work samples
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Operating at a level equal to 6-8+ years of professional experience 
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, local construction methods, and building codes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; managing multiple tasks simultaneously
