Landscape Architecture Graduate

About this role

This long-established and busy Landscape Architecture practice based in Sydney is looking for a newly registered or experienced graduate of Landscape Architecture to join their continually growing team. A perfect position for a design focused individual with around 4 years' post-graduate experience, keen for a new challenge and opportunity to work across a range of sectors while receiving mentorship from industry leading Landscape Architects, Associates and Principals.
 

. Key responsibilities

• Work within an established team to produce design and delivery material from concept to completion
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Show initiative in identifying problems and providing solutions throughout the design and construction process
• Early concept design and 3D modelling 
• Creating material to present to clients and external stakeholders
• Producing technical drawings (ideally Revit) from DA to construction

Skills and experience

• Completed qualifications in Landscape Architecture
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience
• Revit skills preferred, gained through professional practice
• Ideally local Australian standard BCA knowledge and experience
• Deep understanding of Australian horticulture and planting design
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong technical abilities
• Strong presentation skills
• A good understanding of documentation packages
• Knowledge and understanding of design, planning, tender and construction processes
• A ‘can-do’ and enthusiastic attitude
