Senior Interior Designer
About this role
An award-winning Brisbane-based studio specialising in luxury private and multi-residential architecture and interiors is now looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join this high performing team.
With a passion for creating unique and enduring designs across Australia, this studio is now expanding their reach internationally and are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to help grow the interiors side of the business and build an effective team around them.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering and supporting in all aspects of design, documentation and marketing on single and multi-residential projects. This is a client-facing role, where you will be responsible for managing and leading your own projects, supported by the wider team, as well as all supplier management. Experience in the high-end market is a preference with international project experience as a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your own projects from design to delivery, working in collaboration with architects
- Produce your own design and construction documentation in Revit
- Create unique and innovative design options, in context to site
- Coordinate with suppliers and consultants
- Project manage your own jobs, liaising directly with client and contractors
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture/Interior Design
- Operating at a level circa 5-8+ years post-graduation experience
- Solid experience in design and documentation across high-end/luxury residential projects
- Ambitious and driven, with strong desire for professional development and growth
- Strong project management skills and ability to run your own projects
- Flexibility to work autonomously & collaboratively as required
- Enthusiasm and passion for high design outcomes that leave a lasting legacy
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Revit fluent
