Architect for high-end Private Residential + Public Projects

About this role

An opportunity has become available for an ambitious Architect with strong design and technical skills to join this boutique, award-winning studio. This highly-respected practice are looking for an experienced architect with a passion for private residential architecture, good all-round design and documentation skills. This role will suit a proactive 'do-er', someone who can design and detail and is quick at producing documentation for DA and construction. 
 

Key responsibilities

• Work on residential projects from concept to completion
• Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative design solutions
• Prepare/present design proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders
• Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts, ensuring project quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to achieve project objectives
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Skills and experience

• Relevant qualification in architecture (registration not essential)
• Full Australian working rights 
• Demonstrated local experience gained on high quality private residential projects
• Highly developed Vectorworks and Sketchup skills
• Exposure to all phases of the architectural process
• Experience working in a boutique studio
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and visually
• Good knowledge of local codes and standards, and understanding of council controls & regulations
• A keen eye for detail and professional approach to work 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for design and a keen eye for detail
