This award-winning Architecture practice, located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD is seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join their residential team.
As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for managing several projects concurrently through all phases, supported by a small team of associates, senior interior designers, junior designers, and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a go-to team member within the studio for specialist knowledge, protocols, and standards, actively sharing and teaching this expertise.
- Manage multiple specialization projects concurrently, adapting to project size and complexity.
- Manage day-to-day human resources activities, including team dynamics, mentoring, leadership, motivation, and support for team members.
- Foster collaboration and unity within teams across the studio, contributing to studio culture initiatives.
- Support new business development initiatives and leverage existing networks to grow business in relevant sectors.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and actively pursue business opportunities .
- Possess exceptional design and planning skills with a client-focused and results-driven approach.
- Demonstrate independent project-focused leadership on complex projects or across multiple projects, ensuring consistently high standards.
- Capable of strategic thinking within projects and practice-wide in areas of expertise.
- Exhibit excellent presentation and communication skills in written, verbal, and visual formats.
- Committed to adhering to general business principles and resolving commercial requirements promptly.
- Experience in leading teams with specialist knowledge, and adaptability to challenging situations.
- Demonstrate mature interpersonal skills and self-awareness to effectively lead, motivate, and manage team members.
- Proficient in managing stakeholders and client relationships, understanding their needs, expectations, and concerns and effectively communicating project progress

- Adhere to company policies and procedures within our Quality Safety and Environment System
- Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or related discipline
- 7+ years of practical experience in residential design
- Proven experience in space planning which is commercially viable
- Proven experience in leading projects and coordinating all design deliverables from concept through to completion
- Ability to manage a team to deliver excellence and exceptional service
- Organized and able to work across multiple projects
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships to deliver successful design outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen, ability to report on team performance and profitability
- Proficient Revit skills are essential, Enscape skills are preferable
