About this role
An award-winning architectural practice, renowned for delivering high-quality architecture across sectors including residential, commercial, and urban regeneration, is seeking an exceptional Senior Architect (RIBA Part III or equivalent) to join its London studio. This opportunity involves working on a diverse portfolio of exciting, large-scale, mixed-use developments across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, high-quality buildings, particularly through RIBA Stages 3-4.
- Manage and mentor a team of architects and assistants to drive project success.
- Develop initial design concepts and lead the preparation of detailed drawing and specification packages.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Ensure all work adheres to UK planning policy, building regulations, and technical design standards.
Requirements:
- ARB-registered architect with a minimum of five years of post-Part III UK experience, including at least three years in a similar senior role.
- Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality buildings across various project scales and complexities.
- Proficiency in Revit and Autocad, with strong technical design and detailing skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative mindset, with experience coordinating resources and engaging effectively with clients and construction teams.
- Deep knowledge of UK planning policies, building regulations, and technical standards, coupled with a commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD).
- Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.
