This community oriented design practice recognized for it's impactful spaces serves the arts, communities, and environment. They are currently looking for a Project Architect with strong technical skills to join their LA team.
Position Responsibilities
- Produce impeccable technical documentation that complies with design intent as well as all project and code requirements.
- Manage internal project teams of varying sizes and coordinate with external consultant teams.
- Report to Principals and the Project Manager.
- Wear many hats as needed.
Key Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- 5+ years of experience working in a design office, with strong emphasis on technical skills (coding, agency approvals, etc.)
- Experience on public, community or cultural projects a plus.
- Deep knowledge of building code and compliance.
- Research-oriented, exploratory thinking, and academic approach to design.
- Licensure a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Ability to work independently in a hands on, highly collaborative environment.
