Senior Project Lead/Associate Architect

About this role

A top-tier national studio is seeking a talented Senior Project Leader Architect to join the team in an integral role within the practice. The successful candidate will be working on some of Queensland's most exciting projects and will have a proven track record in taking quality design projects through to completion. This is an integral role where you will be responsible for client liaison and sub-consultant management, as well as contribute to the mentoring of a team and report directly to the Director in charge.

Key Responsibilities  

• Contribute to the programming, planning and budgeting of projects and overseeing a wide team to meet these objectives, delegating and supporting where required.
• Coordinate and deliver medium-large scale projects focussed around the multi-residential/mixed-use sector.
• Ability to lead a project, communicate with client and manage sub-consultants to meet deadlines
• Oversee and carry out quality assurance on the architectural output, being hands on if required.
• Manage fee proposals, project fees, variations, invoicing etc. 

Skills and Experience 

• Operating at a level of 10+ years experience, ideally with extensive multi-residential expertise.
• Strong leadership qualities, ability to gain trust and confidence from your team
• Complete project lifecycle understanding from Concept through Design Development, Documentation, Contract Admin to Construction/Site stages.
• Expert knowledge on apartment planning
• Experience leading a small team with strong mentoring capabilities 
• Experience working in a sophisticated Revit environment 
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate
