About this role
About The Role:
A very cool Workplace/ TI design firm in East LA is hiring for a Intermediate Designer with Workplace and Tenant Improvement project design experience. The ideal candidate already has 5 - 7 years of experience and has not only led design projects already but is very comfortable presenting to and working with clients directly. This role does involve using AutoCAD & Revit.
Key Responsibilities:
-Space Planning projects
-Work on projects from programming to CA.
- Develop furniture specifications, schematic installation drawings, including systems furniture and furniture bid analysis.
-Create design presentations for clients
-Create Project schedules and budgets
- Assists with field surveys and document as-built conditions
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of design experience in Workplace or Tenant Improvement sectors
-Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture required.
- Advanced knowledge of leading projects in Programming to CA phases.
-Working knowledge of ADA, ICB, Title 24 and CBC codes.
-Advanced understanding of BOMA calculations
-Hand sketching
-knowledge of vendors
-Proficient in CAD, Revit, Microsoft, etc.
